I have been associated with Anuj for a long time now, through his work in professional photography and adventure events management. I know of very few photographers talented enough to capture stories in their pictures. Anuj does this effortlessly. His curation talent also ensures you get a complete story in photos and videos. Basically he is not only a talented photographer, he also gets it.
Most recently I commissioned him for capturing emotions post the Kora Cycling Challenge in Kathmandu, and his 200+ images album has done exactly that. In an act of generosity, he also did it pro bono as a contribution to the cycling community of Nepal.
In 2020, an adventure marketing initiative in Austria realized they had no images of Nepal that included Nepalese people and culture, and their archives only had landscapes. The answer was immediately Anuj, who captures both landscape but with the people in it.. making it a story

He went knee deep in freezing glacial water and ice just to get a good shot. He walked with 30 kg of equipment on his shoulders every day for 12 hours, at 3000 to 5000m elevations. A great professional with top notch skills and equipment, but above all a lovely, trustable person.

Anuj is one of the best photographers / videographers that I’ve worked with in the trail running community. He’s willing to put in the extra effort to find the best shooting locations. He knows how to capture the setting and mood of his subjects and has a talent for always getting the best shots.
